Quick explanation
The coat of arms of Bavaria is image 2.
Why is this correct?
It shows the white and blue lozenges, combined in the large state coat of arms with lions and a crown.
Background
Every federal state has its own coat of arms. The coat of arms of Bavaria shows the white and blue lozenges, combined in the large state coat of arms with lions and a crown. You can see it, for example, on public buildings, on state documents and on the state flag. Bavaria lies in south-eastern Germany and is the largest federal state by area. It borders Austria and the Czech Republic; the Alps are in the south. Around 13.4 million people live in Bavaria.
Why are the other answers wrong?
The other images show other coats of arms that do not belong to Bavaria. For the test it is worth looking closely at your own state’s coat of arms – this question appears for every state.
