Quick explanation
The state flag of Saxony is white and green.
Why is this correct?
The state flag is white at the top and green at the bottom.
Background
Besides the federal flag, every federal state has its own flag. The state flag is white at the top and green at the bottom. The state flag flies, for example, at the state parliament, ministries and on public buildings on holidays. The coat of arms of Saxony shows black and gold stripes with a green diagonal crown of rue.
Why are the other answers wrong?
The other colour combinations do not belong to Saxony: blue, white and red is the flag of Schleswig-Holstein; green, white and red is the flag of North Rhine-Westphalia; black and yellow is not the flag of any state.
Memory tip
Saxony: white and green.
