Quick explanation
CSU stands for Christian Social Union (Christlich-Soziale Union).
Why is this correct?
The CSU is the CDU’s sister party and runs only in Bavaria.
Background
The Christian Social Union (CSU) was founded in Bavaria in 1945. It runs in elections only in Bavaria, and in return the CDU does not run there. In the Bundestag, the CDU and CSU form a joint parliamentary group, the “Union”. For decades the CSU has almost always provided the Bavarian Minister-President, since 2018 Markus Söder.
Why are the other answers wrong?
“Christian Safe Union” and “Christian South German Union” are invented names – even though the CSU really is a southern German party. A “Christian Social Business Association” is not a party.
Memory tip
CSU = Christian Social Union – the S stands for “Social”.
